On Monday 26th at 6.27 p.m at around 9049ft. , Jason send a message to family “Leaving for next camp at 12am climb till am. Feeling strong. Be glad 2 get out this valley to safer ground so you can track . Love to all , J.”
But , On Tuesday at 3.07 a.m , we received a message from Jason saying
“At 9030 , snow storm weather continues to hamper expedition progress. We’re snowed in still couldn’t move up. Very frustrating.Maybe 48hr more before safe to climb. J”
All information we have received is that Jason will be staying put at 9050ft. for another few days until this snow stom settles down.
