Thankfully Jason has arrived safe and well in Alaska and despite the late arrival of one of his bags causing some extra nerves , everything else has worked out well.

This is the first blog that Jason has been able to update us on :                                  “Mt. Mc Kinley rangers have reported that my ascent of the brutal West Rib is to be the first  ascent tried this year-making it more challenging as I’ve got to plot my own course avoiding crevasses in the North Fork Glacier. Temperatures on the mountain are bitter and with high winds are making life very difficult.”
